Humans are curious beings. We want to understand how everything works, find a reason for everything, and assign responsibility to things to validate something. This is a blessing and a curse. Animals do not spend time on these things. They are curious, but their curiosity tends to be on their current environment. Their focus is on making their life and the lives of their humans happy. They "miss" people when they are gone, but they also have a greater ability to enjoy life while missing them....
